Colts Center Jeff Saturday Returns To Practice

For the first time nearly three weeks, Colts center Jeff Saturday returned to the practice field today for some limited work. Saturday has been recovering from arthroscopic surgery to remove, what the team called, a 'loose body' from his knee.

Saturday is not expected to play in the team's fourth and final preseason game of 2010 against the Cincinnati Bengals this Thursday.

Saturday's return to the practice field comes at a time when the Colts are having to deal with multiple injuries along their offensive line. Left tackle Charlie Johnson has been out since the first week of training camp with an apparent ankle injury. He has not played in any preseason games. Also nursing injuries are back-up tackle Tony Ugoh (toe) and starting guard Kyle DeVan (hamstring).
