College Football Saturday In Indiana

If you're a fan of college football in Indiana today offers a rare opportunity to see a triple header. First at noon, Purdue has its home opener against Western Illinois. The Boilermakers will try to get back on track after last week's loss at Notre Dame, and the 1-AA Leathernecks should provide them an opportunity to get their offense in sync.

At 3:30 the big game of the week occurs in South Bend as the Michigan Wolverines visit the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame and Michigan are each looking for a 2-0 start to the season and a chance to return to national prominence. The winner of this game will likely be in next week's top 25.

Finally, at 7pm Ball State hosts Big South conference foe Liberty. The Flames are no pushover, as they are ranked in the top 20 of the 1-AA poll. The Cardinals will have a much tougher test before they visit Purdue next Saturday.
