Valparaiso Continues Leading Horizon League, Beats Detroit  82-74

Valparaiso is 9-3 in the Horizon League and 17-7 overall after their 82-74 win over Detroit this evening. The Crusaders shot over 50% from the floor and got key contributions from Cory Johnson (19 points), Brandon Wood (17 points) and Ryan Broekhoff (17 points, 3 blocks). Detroit's Chase Simon had 22 points. Valpo's next opponent is Wright State on Saturday.
