Indiana and Charlotte both looking to win two in a row.
The Indiana Pacers survived a five-game losing streak and now hope to string a few wins together before the NBA All-Star break next weekend, starting on Sunday night when they host the Charlotte Bobcats.
The Pacers leaned on a strong second half defensive effort to end the losing and beat the New Jersey Nets on Thursday. After a couple days off to practice and prepare, the Pacers should give a strong effort against Charlotte. Danny Granger returned from an ankle injury to score 32 points against New Jersey.
Reserve guard George Hill is close to returning from his ankle injury but remains listed as day-to-day. Hill has missed the last ten games but did practice with the Pacers on Saturday although did not scrimmage.
The Bobcats arrive at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in a good mood after snapping a 16-game losing streak by beating the Toronto Raptors on Friday. Reggie Williams scored 22 points in the win while rookie Kemba Walker came off the bench to add 14 points and 8 assists. The win helped lift the spirits of the young Bobcats who are still just 4-26 on the season with the worst record in the NBA.
The game is scheduled to tip at 6:00 p.m. ET.
