Wednesday's game against the North Carolina Central Eagles was originally meant to be played on Dec. 7, but when the Indiana Hoosiers found out that they had two byes in less than two weeks, the two teams agreed to move the game to a later date. The result wasn't too different than a regular 'ol bye, however, with the Hoosier dominating all facets of the game for a 75-56 win.
The Eagles did shoot a respectable 47.6 percent from the floor, but they had no chance on the boards with Indiana holding a 34-16 rebounding advantage for the game. The Hoosiers rebounded 60 percent of their misses on the offensive end, giving them plenty of put-back opportunities.
Cody Zeller led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds, though it should be noted that no player played more than 28 minutes. Seventeen total players made their way onto the floor. No walk-on scored, but the fact that so many played should be a clear indication just how little the Hoosiers were worried about the Eagles. They led by as many as 24 points in the second half.
Dominique Sutton was the leading scorer for N.C. Central, netting 21 points on 10-for-16 shooting on the night. Unfortunately, the Eagles had no one they could match up inside against the Hoosiers. Guard Jeremy Ingram led the team with four rebounds coming off the bench.
