College Basketball Rankings: Louisville Moves Into AP Top 25 As Indiana Drops

The latest college basketball rankings were released on Monday afternoon and, in a move that shouldn't surprise the fans following the basketball teams that SB Nation Indiana follows, there weren't a lot of wholesale changes. Both the Indiana Hoosiers and Louisville Cardinals did move in the Associated Press's Top 25, however, to reflect last week's action.

The Cardinals moved into the official rankings on the heels of their four-game winning streak, moving up from 27 to 24. With 112 total votes, they barely edged out Harvard -- the Crimson Tide finished with 105 votes -- but they're quite far from the 23rd spot.

In a fun segue, the team ranked one slot ahead of the Cardinals is none other than the hometown Hoosiers. Indiana dropped three spots in this week's rankings with 227 total votes, but it's likely they could move right back up if they're able to pile together a win versus a ranked team in the near future.
