The 14-6 Indiana Pacers have proven themselves with some huge wins over the last few games including a road victory over the Chicago Bulls, but they're going to need to keep winning the less important games if they want to up their stock and keep their playoff seed high. The Pacers haven't won more than three games in a row yet this NBA season and will need to work to do so again Wednesday night as they face the tough Minnesota Timberwolves.
Though the Wolves haven't been able to sneak over .500 yet this season, they've had very strong play including an MVP worthy campaign by Kevin Love and some great work by rookie Ricky Rubio. At the Target Center in Minnesota, Indiana hasn't historically had much luck and have lost five of their last six games. The Pacers are a team that have shown plenty of offense this season and have always scored high against the Wolves though so at the very least we're guaranteed an entertaining game.
The game will be at Target Center at 8 PM ET.

Pacers Vs. Timberwolves: Granger Leads Indy To Third Straight W
Danny Granger dropped 36 in the Pacers’ 109-99 win over the Timberwolves on Wednesday.
It was the Pacers’ third straight win, tying a season-high they’ve reached twice before. They’ll go for No. 4 Friday in Dallas.
Granger scored 29 of his 36 after halftime, apparently fueled by a dust-up he had with Timberwolves forward Kevin Love.
Love took exception to a no-call on an offensive board, and responded by reaching out and clawing Granger’s shoulder. Granger didn’t much appreciate the foul and proceeded to jaw at Love.
After being assessed a technical, Granger lit up the scoreboard. During the ensuing 22-12 run, Granger scored 13 points, including an and-one three-pointer to make it 94-77 midway through the fourth.
After the game, Pacers coach Frank Vogel – who had sprinted onto the court to prevent Granger from being ejected – told reporters,
The Pacers have now won 15 of their last 21 and are just 1.5 back of Chicago.
Darren Collison had 20 points and nine assists, while Roy Hibbery chipped in 15 points and nine boards.
