The Indiana Pacers hosted the Miami Heat in the hopes of ending a three-game losing skid on Tuesday night, but the Heat were not one to oblige. At halftime, the Heat held a 68-39 lead over the Pacers and just seemed to coast from there in the second half to an easy win, handing the Pacers their fourth loss in a row. The Pacers were able to score 32 points in the final quarter to make the score look a bit better than it was, but by then the Heat had put it in cruise control.
LeBron James led the Heat in scoring with 23 points with 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals. Point guard Norris Cole picked up 20 points off the bench while Dwayne Wade added 16 points and 6 rebounds. Chris Bosh ended the night with 13 points and 7 rebounds.
For the Pacers in the loss, David West led the way with 14 points while five other players on Indiana picked up double digit points. Paul George score 12 points while A.J. Price picked up 12 points off the bench. The Pacers have now lost their fourth game in a row.
