Feb 21, 2012 - The Pacers have begun to right the ship after dropping five-straight games in the middle of February. They dominated in their last outing, beating Charlotte 108-73, and beat New Jersey before that 93-88. They're sitting at second in the Central division and have a 19-12 record. They've been playing some less-than stellar competition of late, and that run will continue through the beginning of March.
It will definitely continue on Tuesday when they take on the New Orleans Hornets, who lost their last outing 101-93 to Oklahoma City. The Hornets were actually on a rare winning streak prior to that loss, taking three-straight games over Milwaukee, New York and Utah, but were on an eight-game losing streak before that. They're sitting at 7-24 on the season and have just four wins on the road.
To contrast, the Pacers have won nine of their 13 outings at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Their last two wins have come against teams with a combined 14 wins. After this game, they've got the Bobcats, who have won four games total. It's an objectively easy part of their schedule and it'd be best to take advantage of it with a solid win. The game is set for 7:00 p.m. eastern.
