The Pacers head to Atlanta having won five of their last six, while the Hawks have lost three straight home games.
Feb 8, 2012 - The Indiana Pacers have won five games out of their last six, an impressive clip for a team with an impressive 17-7 record. They're going to need all of that red hot magic that they can get as they head down south to face the Atlanta Hawks, a team they haven't beat on the road since way back in 2006.
It might be a fortunate time for the Pacers to go in as this is the fourth game of a home stand for Atlanta, a home stand that they've lost the first three games of. With Danny Granger on a tear lately that hasn't been matched by any Atlanta players and with center Al Horford still out for the Hawks it looks to be the prime time for Indiana to take Phillips Arena by storm and get that first win in over five seasons.
Granger was fantastic in the fourth quarter of the Pacers last win over the Utah Jazz, where they had to withstand a furious rally attempt before closing the door at the end. It's high scoring fourth quarters like that for the Pacers that will allow them to continue their hot streak, especially against a 16-9 Atlanta team that's been no slouch offensively until recently.
The game will be at Phillips Arena at 7:30 ET.
