Time for your weekly Fantasy Football update for Colts players, as Playoffs start this week in most leagues:
Quarterback:
Peyton Manning - Despite 3 terrible weeks in NFL football, his fantasy football numbers haven't really dropped. He should definitely play this week against the Titans.
Donald Brown: He was injured during last weeks game against the Cowboys, and has really struggled lately. Add in he doesn't get goal-line carries, and he definitely should not be played.
Javarris James: You want a sleeper, he might not be a bad option. The Colts like running the ball in the red zone, and James has scored all of the rushing TDs since Addai has been hurt. Definitely no higher than a flex option, but could get some yards late if the Colts build a lead.
Dominic Rhodes: Recently signed for his third stint with the Colts, I don't expect him to have more than 5 carries. Not a viable option.
Wide Receivers:
Reggie Wayne: He'll have Courtland Finnegan on him for most of the night, but expect Manning to look his way regardless. Definite play this week.
Pierre Garcon: Scored a TD last week, and should get another one this week. Garcon will be needed to stretch the field, and maybe on some over-the-middle catches. He's a decent #2 this week.
Blair White: Austin Collie, who is out once again, had a big night last season at Tennessee. Look for White to hammer the seam, and any matchup he may get with a LB will get Manning's attention. Probably a stretch for a start, but if you're in a pinch, he's manageable.
Taj Smith: Only going to play Special Teams, so do not play.
Tight Ends:
Jacob Tamme: Play him with no second thoughts. Titans have been getting killed by TEs as of late.
Adam Vinatieri: Titans are giving up 2nd most fantasy points to kickers, as they are excellent in the red zone. Vinatieri is a great play this week.
Defense:
The Colts should get a few sacks on the very immobile Kerry Collins, and are due for a turnover or 2. Only in a pinch would I play them, but like White, could work if necessary.
