In 49 other states, it's just sports.
As painful as it is for Indianapolis Colts' fans to think about Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots playing in Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium, consider how the Colts themselves will feel when they have to open up their practice facility for the Patriots to use during Super Bowl week.
That's right, Belichick and the Patriots will have the run of the Colts Complex on West 56th Street as they prepare to play in the Super Bowl. Were this just a couple of years earlier, the potential for espionage and counter-espionage between the two organizations would've been off the charts.
But with Bill Polian's paranoia no longer running the joint and the Colts drifting toward starting over with Peyton Manning's health in limbo, the triumphant Patriots will be more like a long-lost relative overstaying their welcome and eating all of the food in your fridge.
Belichick probably won't even bother trying to glean some inside information from inside the Colts Complex consider he'll have his Super Bowl opponent to worry about. Although out of habit, I can see him checking door knobs and cabinets just in case it opens up something worth a look.
I wonder how many leftover Polian bugs he'll find?
