Several others that were interviewed for the position were Titans Defensive Coordinator Jerry Gray, Saints Offensive Coordinator Pete Carmichael, 49ers Special Teams Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach Brad Seely, and CFL Head Coach Marc Trestman. There were also reports that former Ohio State Head Coach Jim Tressel had interviewed for the position, as he was a Replay Consultant for the team last season.
