Jim Caldwell Set To Join The Baltimore Ravens, According To Report

There have been mixed feelings with Indianapolis Colts fans regarding all of the housecleaning going on. There are plenty of coaches that have been with the team for a long time that are now on their way out, and Bill Polian has kept the team competitive for a long time. That being said, one player shouldn't be the catalyst to a winning season, so when Peyton Manning went down, Jim Caldwell was tasked with keeping the team competitive.

He failed to do that, and even if it seems a little unfair, he was let go in favor of a totally new staff and front office. Some fans were happy to see him go after the 2-14 season, others are wishing him well. After initially being linked to a position with the Pittsburgh Steelers, it now appears that Caldwell has found a home. Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reported on Twitter that Caldwell has found a home with the Baltimore Ravens as their quarterbacks coach.

Caldwell will get to work with Joe Flacco, an inconsistent quarterback who has shown signs of greatness. We'll see if his tenure in Baltimore ends up better than his time with Indianapolis.
