Notre Dame and Louisville both have five game winning streaks that they can extend over the weekend. Butler and Purdue both get big conference games as well, and the Hoosiers get the weekend off.
Feb 10, 2012 - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish just keep on winning in the Big East, and added to their total with yet another W against the West Virginia Mountaineers during the week. The Irish get an easy go of making their streak six in a row when they face the DePaul Blue Demons on Saturday at at noon ET.
Louisville are likely looking ahead to a huge Big East matchup against Syracuse on Monday, but they'll have to play a weekend game to get there. Similar to the Irish, the Cardinals hold a five game winning streak and can continue momentum against the last team the Irish played, the Mountaineers. Louisville play WVU on Saturday at noon ET.
Purdue were scheduled to have a letdown against the Ohio State Buckeyes and did get a loss but looked spirited in the defeat, losing only by three. They have a shot to rebound on Sunday as the Boilermakers take on the Northwestern Wildcats at 6 PM ET.
After beating the Youngstown State Penguins to once again establish a winning record in Horizon conference play, the Butler Bulldogs will get a shot to kick a team while they're down as it were when they play the Cleveland State Vikings. The Vikings are fresh off their second loss to the Valparaiso Crusaders of the season, a loss that knocked them down to second in the conference. Butler travel to Cleveland to face the Vikings on Saturday at 11 AM ET.
The Indiana Hoosiers will get the weekend and a large chunk of next week off after finally getting two wins in a row thanks to a win over Illinois.
